Villanova Wildcats Basketball Fanatics

Good comeback yesterday against Maryland.  The Cats have some frustrating stretches, including the first part of the second half.  With road games against Connecticut and Syracuse coming up, we'll see if they really are an elite team this year.  Need Mouph and Pena to give us some front court balance.  The guards usually play pretty well.

All you can do is salute Saint Marys.But Geesh what the heck Scotty Reynolds .They were definately flat and Jay Wright you could tell just by the look on his face,he didn`t have the answers.Even in the Robert Morris game there were ominous signs of some kind of funk was setting in.From here on out ,Im not really sure how much confidence I can have in the Wildcats for the future.

I have to confess ,I thought Big East as a whole was the best in the land,even that has taken a hit.All well there`s always Northern Iowa,what a sweet game against Kansas.

Dear Nova Fans:      Villanova won the Puerto Rico Tournament by beating " Ole Miss " by 12 points, and going 5 - 0 for the season.  Pena had a monster game with 17 points and 16 rebounds.  King had 10 rebounds to go along with 9 points.  Reynolds and Fischer scored 21 and 18 points respectively.  Nova's next game will be against LaSalle on November 28th.  The freshman are getting alot of playing time,  which,  will pay off during the latter half of the season and during the NCAA tournament.       soloking2
